A cry arose from my tavern, my supplication split the heavens in two.
In the end, victory arrived, my beloved came to care for me.
Oh Lord, oh Lord, how does my incomparable beloved repay me?
Obedience and faith transform my negligence, denial, and crimes.
He grants a palace for my shortcomings, he gives a morsel for my slips.
He stirs the heart of the sea and mountains with the heat of my day of meeting.
If not for the veil of people's imaginations, they would have been burned by my visions.
An earthquake would strike the army of souls, my drum and banner would roar and lament.
Flames would blaze in the sky's horizon, at midnight, the fire of my covenant.
