I have a fire from you in my mouth, yet I have a hundred seals on my tongue.
The flames I have within can make two worlds a single morsel.
If the entire world perishes, I possess the realm of a hundred worlds without it.
Caravans carrying that sugar, I have set forth from the Egypt of nonexistence.
I am unaware of the intoxication of love, whether I gain or lose from it.
The eye of the body was radiant from love; until now, I have a radiant soul.
I am not bound to a house, like Jesus, I have a house in the fourth heaven.
Thanks to the one who gives life to the body, if the soul departs, I have the soul of the soul.
What Shams of Tabriz has given, I have that stream within me.
