We came once again to the master, where no sea reaches his knees.
A thousand intellects combined cannot reach him; how can a hand or foot reach the moon of the heavens?
The sky stretched its neck in greed toward him, but found no kiss, only tasted sweetness.
A thousand throats and necks stretched toward his lips, hoping he would pour sweetness upon us too.
We came once again to the beloved, whose air reached our ears with whispers.
We came once again to that sanctuary, whose worshipper's head touches the sky.
We came once again to that meadow, where the nightingale is a servant to the phoenix.
We came to him who is never separate from us, for the musk is not filled without the presence of the water carrier.
The musk always clings to the water carrier's body, for without you, I have no hand, knowledge, or opinion.
We came once again to that gathering, where the sweetness of the sugarcane pleases the palate.
We came once again to that wheel, where the soul thunders like lightning in its silence.
We came once again to that love, where the demon becomes a fairy due to its impact.
Be silent and seal the rest under your tongue, for the fierce lullaby is entrusted to you.
Speak little of the glory of Shams of Tabriz, for the speaking intellect is not worthy of it.
