Moses' objection to the shepherd's prayer
Moses saw a shepherd on the road, who was saying, "O God, O Lord,
Where are you so I can become your servant? I will sew your shoes and comb your hair.
I will wash your clothes and kill your lice, bring you milk, O majestic one.
I will kiss your hand and massage your feet, when it's time to sleep, I will sweep your place.
All my goats are sacrificed for you, my cries and calls are for you.
The shepherd was speaking foolishly, and Moses said, "Who are you talking to, O man?"
He said, "To the one who created us, from whom the earth and sky appeared."
Moses said, "You have become foolish, you have become an infidel without becoming a Muslim.
What is this nonsense and blasphemy? Stuff some cotton in your mouth.
Your blasphemy has made the world stink, your disbelief has torn the silk of religion.
Shoes and sandals are suitable for you, such things are not appropriate for the sun.
If you do not close your mouth from this speech, a fire will come and burn the people.
If no fire has come, then what is this smoke? What is this darkened soul and rejected spirit?
If you know that God is the judge, how can you believe in such nonsense and audacity?
Foolish friendship is itself enmity, the Almighty is free from such service.
Who are you speaking to, with uncle and aunt? Body and need in the attributes of the Almighty.
He drinks milk who is in growth, he wears shoes who needs feet.
And if this conversation is for a servant, the one who said, 'I am sick, you did not visit me,'
I became ill, he did not become alone.
The one who has become without hearing and sight, for that servant, this is also nonsense.
Speaking rudely with the special of God, kills the heart and blackens the page.
If you call a man Fatima, even though men and women are of the same kind,
He will intend to kill you if possible, even if he is good-natured, patient, and calm.
Fatima is praise for women, if you say it to a man, it is a spear wound.
Hands and feet are praise for us, for the purity of God, they are a stain.
He is worthy of 'He begets not, nor is He begotten,' He is the creator of parent and child.
Whatever is corporeal, birth is its attribute, whatever is born is from this side of the river.
Because it is from being and corruption and great, it is certain that it is created and needs a creator.
He said, "O Moses, you have sewn my mouth, and from regret, you have burned my soul."
He tore his clothes and sighed deeply, laid his head in the desert, and went away.
God's reproach to Moses for the shepherd
A revelation came to Moses from God, "You have separated our servant from us.
I have given each person a disposition, I have given each person a terminology.
In his case, it is praise, and in your case, it is blame, in his case, it is honey, and in your case, it is poison.
We are free from all purity and impurity, from all heaviness and agility.
I did not command to gain benefit, but to bestow generosity upon the servants.
The terminology of the Indians is praise for the Indians, the terminology of the Sindhis is praise for the Sindhis.
I do not become pure from their glorification, they themselves become pure and radiant.
We do not look at the tongue and speech, we look at the soul and state.
We observe the heart if it is humble, even if the words are not humble.
Because the heart is the essence, speaking is an accident, so the accident is secondary to the essence.
How long with these words, implications, and metaphors? I want burning, burning with that burning.
Kindle a fire of love in the soul, burn all thought and expression.
O Moses, those who know etiquette are one kind, those with burnt souls and spirits are another.
For lovers, every breath is burning, there is no tax or tithe on a ruined village.
If he speaks wrongly, do not call him wrong, if he is full of blood, do not become his martyr.
The blood of martyrs is more precious than water, this mistake is better than a hundred rewards.
Inside the Kaaba, there is no direction for prayer, what sorrow if the diver has no shoes?
Do not seek guidance from the intoxicated, what do you command the torn-clothed to mend?
The religion of love is separate from all religions, the religion and sect of lovers is God.
If the ruby has no seal, it is not a problem, love in the sea of sorrow is not sorrowful.
The revelation to Moses in apology for the shepherd
After that, God placed secrets in Moses' mind, secrets that cannot be spoken.
Words poured into Moses' heart, seeing and speaking became intertwined.
He became unconscious several times and came to himself several times, he flew from eternity to eternity.
After this, if I explain, it is foolishness, because the explanation is beyond awareness.
If I say it, it will uproot the minds, if I write it, many pens will break.
When Moses heard this reproach from God, he ran after the shepherd in the desert.
He followed the footprints of that lost one, scattering the dust from the desert's veil.
The steps of the disturbed man were evident from the steps of others.
One step like a face from high to low, one step like an elephant going sideways.
Sometimes like a wave raising a flag, sometimes like a fish moving on its belly.
Sometimes writing his state on the ground, like a fortune teller casting a sand divination.
Finally, he found him and saw him, he said, "Rejoice, permission has come.
Seek no etiquette or order, say whatever your distressed heart desires.
Your disbelief is religion, and your religion is the light of the soul, safety and the world is safe from you.
O exempt one, God does what He wills, without fear, open your tongue.
He said, "O Moses, I have moved beyond that, now I am immersed in the blood of my heart.
I have passed beyond the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary, I have gone a hundred thousand years beyond that.
You struck my horse with a whip, it turned, made a dome, and passed beyond the sky.
May our earthly realm be the heavenly realm, blessings upon your hand and arm.
My state now is beyond speaking, what I say is not my state.
You see an image in a mirror, it is your image, not the image of the mirror.
The breath that the piper puts into the pipe is suitable for the pipe, not for the man.
Beware, whether you praise or thank, recognize it as the unfinished state of that shepherd.
Your praise is better in relation to that, but in relation to God, it is also incomplete."
