This example serves as a link in speech, a link is necessary for the understanding of the common people.  
Who can enter the fire without a mediator, except for the salamander that is free from ties?  
You need the intermediary of the bath to make your nature happy with the fire.  
Since you cannot enter the fire like Khalil, your bath becomes your messenger, your water becomes your guide.  
Satisfaction comes from God, but those with a natural disposition cannot reach fullness without the intermediary of bread.  
Grace is from God, but those of the body cannot perceive grace without the veil of the garden.  
When the intermediary of the body is unveiled, like Moses, the light of the moon is found from the pocket.  
These skills also testify to the water, for its interior is full of God's grace.
