How Should Someone Drawn To You Act?

You have sworn that from now on you will be cruel, breaking the oath and abandoning cruelty.
Today we have taken hold of your skirt and are pulling it, until when will you make excuses and deceive?
Your lips smile, beloved, giving the glad tidings that you have thought of being faithful from now on.
Without you, our prayer is not valid, what is the benefit? It will only be valid when you fulfill our needs.
Without your sea, we are like fish flopping on land; a fish does the same when separated from its water.
The oppressor is cruel, and the captive fears you; justice will do to you what you do to us.
When you are cruel, who will frighten you, except the one who submits to whatever you demand?
Be silent, do not sell the orphan's door; that which has no value, how can you give it value?

Today we pull you back.
