See each part of the world in transit
See each one arrived from a journey
See each one, in hope of their sustenance
Bowing their head before their own king
Like stars, for the sake of shining
Helplessly fallen at the feet of the sun
Like floods seeking water
See them tossed and turned towards their sea
For each one, from the king's kitchen
See a worthy table according to their measure
Before their ocean-drinking cup
See the world's sea as a mere drop
And those whose sustenance is the king's face
See their mouth filled with the king's sweetness
Look with the eyes of Shams of Tabriz
See another ocean full of gems
