If the branches become like a porcupine's quills, the lion will inevitably kill the cow.
Although the storm uproots many trees, it shows kindness to the tender grass.
The fierce wind shows mercy to the weak grass; O heart, you should show strength through compassion.
Why would the axe fear the abundance of tree branches when it cuts them piece by piece?
Yet it does not strike itself against a leaf, nor does it strike against a thorn.
Why would the flame worry about the abundance of firewood, or the butcher fear the flock of sheep?
In the face of meaning, form is very weak; meaning can overturn the heavens.
Take a lesson from the waterwheel; its rotation is guided by the intellect.
The rotation of this body, like a shield, is driven by the spirit, my son.
The movement of this wind comes from its meaning, like a wheel driven by the stream.
The ebb and flow, the income and expenditure of this breath, come from the soul full of desire.
Sometimes it makes a 'J,' sometimes an 'H' and 'D,' sometimes it brings peace, sometimes conflict.
Similarly, our God made this wind harmful to the people of 'Ad, like a dragon.
Yet He made the same wind peaceful and protective for the believers.
The Sheikh of Religion said, "The meaning is Allah," the ocean of meanings of the Lord of the worlds.
All the layers of earth and sky are like straw in that flowing ocean.
The movements and dances of straw in the water come from the water itself in times of turmoil.
When it wants to calm it, it throws the straw towards the shore.
When it draws it from the shore into the waves, it does to it what fire does to grass.
