Who finds such a market where with one flower you buy a whole garden?
A single seed is exchanged for a hundred orchards, a grain brings you a hundred mines.
Giving that grain is for God, so that the mine of God comes into your hand.
Because this weak, restless desire becomes existence from the enduring divine desire.
When the mortal desire surrenders itself, it becomes eternal and never dies.
Like a drop afraid of wind and dust, which perishes by these two destructions.
When it returns to its origin, the sea, it is freed from the sun's heat, wind, and dust.
Its appearance is lost in the sea, yet its essence remains pure, steadfast, and good.
Come, give yourself, O drop, without regret, so you may find the ocean in exchange for a drop.
Come, give yourself, O drop, this honor, become secure from loss in the hand of the sea.
Whoever gains such fortune, a drop has become sought by the ocean.
By God, by God, quickly sell and buy, give a drop and take a sea full of jewels.
By God, by God, do not delay, for this word has come from the sea of grace.
Grace upon grace, this is lost, as the lowest becomes the seventh heaven.
Come, for a wondrous opportunity has arisen, no seeker finds this in their search.
