Inside me, a hundred silent, pleasant breaths place a hand on the lips, meaning enough.
Silence is an ocean, and speaking is like a stream; the ocean seeks you, do not seek the stream.
Do not turn away from the signs of the sea; conclude, and God knows best what is right.
Thus, that impolite one constantly spoke before the Prophet with cold lips.
His speech came to him unaware, for the news was trivial in the presence of the sight.
These reports are like deputies of the sight; they are not for the present, but for the absent.
Whoever becomes connected in sight, these reports become irrelevant to him.
When you sit with the beloved, dismiss the intermediaries from now on.
Whoever has passed from childhood and become a man, letters and intermediaries become cold to him.
One reads letters for the sake of learning, speaks words for the sake of understanding.
It is a mistake to speak news before the seers, for it is a sign of our ignorance and deficiency.
Silence is your benefit before the seer; for this reason, the command "be silent" came.
If he commands you to speak, speak well, but speak briefly, do not prolong.
And if he commands you to prolong, speak shyly, comply with the command.
Just as I am now in this beautiful enchantment with Zia-ul-Haq Husamuddin.
When I shorten my words from wisdom, he draws me to speak in a hundred ways.
O Husamuddin, Zia of majesty, when you see, why do you seek words?
This must be from the love of desire: "Give me wine and say it is."
His cup is at your lips at this moment; the ear says, "Where is the ear's share?"
Your share is warmth; behold, warmth and intoxication, but my greed says it is more than this.
